Raw Gushu Puerh Y Tý, Spring 2026
This tea was made together with our friend and tea master during the first days of April in Y Tý, Lao Cai. The weather that week was clear and stable, with gentle sunshine and perfect conditions for making tea. Everything came together naturally, creating a tea with excellent balance, depth and character.
This cake is a blend of two small batches from the same harvest. One batch was processed at a lower temperature for a longer time, giving the tea a soft, sweet and easy-drinking character. The second batch adds fresh mineral notes, lively forest aromas and the deep flavour of ancient tea trees.
The aroma begins with wildflowers, fresh herbs and a touch of forest honey, followed by cool mineral notes and gentle forest sweetness. The liquor is thick, smooth and velvety, with a rich mouthfeel. A long-lasting returning sweetness slowly fills the mouth and stays long after each sip.
Cha qi is steady and gentle, bringing a calm and balanced feeling throughout the session.
